Embassy sends books to West Dunbartonshire Council

Following the decision of West Dunbartonshire Council to ban Israeli books from their library shelves, the Israeli Embassy sent to the Council a package of books including one of the first publications in Hebrew to emanate from the region, the Bible, and ranging to the modern day and Start Up Nation (by Senor & Singer).

Embassy celebrates Yom Ha’atzmaut

The Embassy celebrated Israel’s 63rd birthday with a reception for 1500 people. The audience were treated to the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design’s Legacy Innovation Inspiration exhibition as well as speeches from the Israel’s Ambassador to the UK, HE Ron Prosor, Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky and Israeli Education Minister, Gideon Sa’ar.
