Amir Ofek is an experienced career diplomat, who has previously served as Deputy Ambassador in Santiago, Chile as well as Director of Public Affairs in New York. Mr. Ofek holds a Batchelors degree in Poltical Science and East Asia Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Masters Degree in Political Media from the University of Tel Aviv. He was also a member in the MFA media team during the military operations of Defensive Shield (2002), Cast Lead (2008) as well as during the ‘Second Intifada’.
