Israeli House
Welcome to the Israeli House! The Ministry of Immigrant Absorption operates, through the embassies and consulates abroad, a unique project for maintaining contact with Israelis living outside Israel – the Israeli House. The main purpose is to offer guidance for those interested in returning home, and to provide personal support in planning the return. Another key role of the Israeli House is to serve as a meeting place for Israelis, where they can express their Israeli identity, in a Hebrew-speaking environment, and experience Israel’s public holidays and religious festivals by participating in social and cultural activities with an Israeli orientation.
These activities include:
- Holiday celebrations
- Lectures by well-known media, literary, and business figures
- Appearances by local artists
- Viewing of Israeli films, and more
Please note that the Israeli House section can be viewed in Hebrew by clicking on the toggle at the top right hand corner of this page.

Returning to Israel
The State of Israel invests great effort in encouraging all of its citizens who reside abroad to return to Israel, and in easing their integration. In recent years, the Government of Israel has been providing returning residents with extensive support and assistance and offering a wide range of vocational and social options, in order to facilitate their return home. This year, too, the Government has approved a wide-ranging assistance programme, designed to encourage you to return to Israel and ease your homecoming.
