Deputy Ambassador

Mr Alon Roth-Snir has been the Deputy Ambassador of Israel to the Court of St James’s since 2010.

Having started his diplomatic career with a posting as First Secretary in Yaounde, Cameroon, he brings with him a wealth of experience accumulated from two postings at the mission to the European Union in Brussels: first as a Counselor responsible for relations with the European Parliament and then as Deputy Head of Mission in 2002.

Just before arriving in London, Mr Roth-Snir served as Deputy Ambassador to Jordan. He has also worked as Counselor to the Disarmament Division and headed divisions on regional security, and terror and proliferation.
